Welcome to 3DCreatioNZ, we are so pleased you that you have found us!

My name is Keith.

I have a passion spanning over 4 decades for role-playing and tabletop gaming. As much as I enjoy where digital gaming can take you/us, I always find my way back to the tabletop, hands-on experience. As my librarian best friend likes to say, “I love analogue”.

I am very fond of fantasy literature and thoroughly enjoy the world Tolkien created, more recently Robert Jordan's Wheel of Time series, and my partner would box my ears if I didn't mention the works of Neil Gaiman and Terry Pratchett.

I am inspired by the creativity of making, painting, and ultimately building the characters and scenery that I develop over a long period of time, thinking about their use when applying colour, running scenarios in my head, implementing the details and nuance that brings them to life.

I am a long-time fan of Magic the Gathering; I won an Auckland regionals one year with a black/white Cleric deck. I was also a judge for a number of years.

A few years back a birthday gift of a 3D printer enabled my desire to combine my passions into something more; now I can design, create, apply colour, and build something usable.

I am still learning to use software for design, slicing, and supporting trouble shooting for 3D printing, but I have almost two years of experience with both resin and filament printers. My son, James, also has a lot of hands-on experience with both forms of printing.

I invite you to join me in the next evolution of this experience and look forward to sharing this experience with you. It is my great hope to inspire, help, motivate, and support you if you are interested.
